Hello and welcome to another school year!  Even though this one looks a bit different than previous years, I'm certain we can work together to make it a great one!

I started out in Algonac as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with the preschool and elementary students years ago.  Currently, I am the Service Coordinator for Special Education at both Millside and Algonquin.  I work with all the staff at Millside and 2nd and 3rd grade at Algonquin.  If you have a concern about your child, please talk to your child's teacher.  If you have questions about the special education process, feel free to email or call me: (810) 794-8880 x3709,

I also work with Early On, which is our birth to 3 program in the state of Michigan.  Children who qualify for the special education side of Early On can receive support in the schools.  Special instruction (teacher), physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech/language therapy are available to children who qualify.  To qualify for special education under 3 years old, the child should have a 50% delay in one of the developmental domains: cognitive, motor, speech/language, adaptive (self-help), social-emotional.  If you are concerned about your child, please contact Early On through the St. Clair County Regional Educational Service Agency (SCCRESA):     Early On through St. Clair County
