The Boys basketball team plays at Little Caesars Arena January 10. Tickets also include Pistons game that evening, invite to Niki's in Greektown for lunch, as well as Ice Skating at Campus Martius. . The Knights of Columbus have invited Algonquin 4th-6th graders to participate in a Spelling Bee on November 6th. If your child is interested please have them come to the Algonquin Office for an entry form and word list. There will be a practice Spelling Bee during the school day on November 3rd at 12:40pm.

I have been entered into the classroom cash grant for Physical Education yet again. This year's project is titled: Reel Skills for Real Life. This is for a fishing program that I would like to put into my class curriculum.
