Based on dangerously low temperatures forecasted for tomorrow morning, Algonac Community Schools will be closed on Friday, 1/23/26. Childcare will be open.

Important schedule change for Algonac Community Schools:
Due to the unforeseen number of cancelled school days, we will be moving exams to next week. As a result, the half days that were scheduled for this week will be moved to next week for ALL schools.
New Schedule:
AJSHS - This week will be all full days. Next week, Monday and Tuesday will be full days. Wednesday through Friday (January 28 through 30) will be half days.
Algonquin, Millside, and Pointe Tremble (GSRP) - This week will be all full days. Next week Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will be full days. Thursday and Friday (January 29 and 30) will be half days.

The Knights of Columbus have invited Algonquin 4th-6th graders to participate in a Spelling Bee on November 6th. If your child is interested please have them come to the Algonquin Office for an entry form and word list. There will be a practice Spelling Bee during the school day on November 3rd at 12:40pm.
