Due to inclement weather, Algonac Community Schools will be closed tomorrow, 1/26/26. Childcare will be closed as well.

Based on dangerously low temperatures forecasted for tomorrow morning, Algonac Community Schools will be closed on Friday, 1/23/26. Childcare will be open.

Important schedule change for Algonac Community Schools:

Due to the unforeseen number of cancelled school days, we will be moving exams to next week. As a result, the half days that were scheduled for this week will be moved to next week for ALL schools.

New Schedule:

AJSHS - This week will be all full days. Next week, Monday and Tuesday will be full days. Wednesday through Friday (January 28 through 30) will be half days.

Algonquin, Millside, and Pointe Tremble (GSRP) - This week will be all full days. Next week Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday will be full days. Thursday and Friday (January 29 and 30) will be half days.

Due to treacherous road conditions, Algonac Community Schools is closed today, 1/16/26. Childcare is closed as well.

As people are always searching to find fun, engaging events on a fall Friday night, your problems are solved. We are in need of a few people to create an unofficial chain crew for this evening's football game. Besides the incredible experience of taking in a game from the best seats in the house, the football program would be happy to treat you to a delicious hot dog and a cold refreshment. The game time for JV Football at Madison Heights - Madison next Thursday has been changed to 5:30 instead of the normal 6:00 start time.

Algonac JR/SR High School has been selected as one of the high school sports programs to receive funds from the 2025 McDonald’s High School Sports Digital Fundraiser!

Local area McDonald’s restaurants will be raising money for their local high school sports programs. Restaurants will be donating 20% of all digital sales made in the McDonald’s App on Tuesday, October 21st to AJSHS’s athletic department.
